John Rouse

Johnathan grew up in a small rural town in southern Texas, where he began his career in IT working for his local school district. There, he repaired PCs, wrote server automations, led fellow interns on projects and built the foundational skills he continues to use to support others with their IT needs.

During his time at the district, he developed a strong sense of pride in a job well done, knowing his work helped teachers better serve hundreds of students each year.

He later carried that drive across nearly all 50 states, helping upgrade cybersecurity systems for medical offices and training staff on new tools to improve patient care. He looks forward to continuing to serve his community here at Elevate.

On his first trip to Oregon, he met his fiancée and has been by her side ever since. After moving to Portland in 2026, he looks forward to building a long and fulfilling life in the Pacific Northwest.

Outside of work, Johnathan enjoys tackling home projects, reading in the sun with his fiancée, paddleboarding along the many rivers throughout Oregon and most importantly — spending time with family and friends.
