Cody Cooke

A PNW native for his entire life, Cody's tech journey began in the late 90's when his parents purchased a classic Gateway beige computer tower for their apartment office. While most of it was spent playing the 3D Pinball Space Cadet game that came pre-installed, he was drawn to the idea that you could create something from code and some imagination. He built his first computer from refurbished parts in the late 00's, and the most important lesson he learned from that, in his own words: "I didn't think there'd be so many cables."

Cody has held many jobs across multiple career fields before joining Elevate and as such has worn many hats in both leadership and logistic roles, acquiring a vast degree of interpersonal skills and insights regarding the "ground-level" of various industries.

He attended Mount Hood Community College with a major in Computer Science and Game Development, and while life had different ideas for him from time to time, he has recently completed a Full Stack Developer program from the University of Oregon and plans to pursue a CompTIA A+ certification.

Outside of work, Cody enjoys much of his time at home, tinkering with a new gadget or thingamajig that he finds in local hobby shops. He also occasionally livestreams, sharing his love of gaming, creativity, and a good joke.
